There are a few players along the Surigao to Siargao route and vice versa. The most common players are Montenegro (the oldest RORO company along this route), Evaristo and Sons (RORO and fastcraft), and JP Shipping (RORO and fastcraft). A few small shipping companies also operate fastcraft ferries along this route.
The first trip from Siargao to Surigao is at 5 AM, and the last trip is at 1:45 PM. Meanwhile, the first trip from Surigao to Siargao is at 4 AM and the last trip is at 3:30 PM.

How many hours from Surigao to Siargao?
The travel time of ferries from Surigao Port to Dapa Port in Siargao is 1.5 hours for fastcraft ferries and 3-4 hours for roro ferries. From Surigao to Del Carmen Port in Siargao, the travel time of fastcraft ferries is 2 hours.

How to Get to Siargao from Surigao
If you’re coming from Cebu, you will be docking at Surigao Port, the same port serving ferries bound for Siargao.
If you’re coming from the bus terminal, you can take a habal-habal (motorcycle taxi), tricycle, or multicab to get to Surigao Port. The trip takes 10 minutes, and the fare should not be more than 50 PHP (~1 USD).
Coming from Surigao Airport, take a habal-habal or tricycle to Surigao Port. The trip takes 20 minutes, and the fare is about 100 PHP (~2 USD).
Upon arriving at Dapa Port in Siargao, go outside the gate where habal-habal and tricycles wait. The fare is usually around 300 PHP (~6 USD) for the habal-habal and 400 PHP (~8 USD) for the tricycle. The travel time is 30 minutes.
Alternatively, you may take the DATSCO bus/modern jeepney (see map) to your hotel in General Luna. DATSCO Bus Terminal is located about 160 meters east of Dapa Port.
Note that its schedule is few and far between. The fare is 30 PHP (0.5 USD) per person, and the travel time is 30 minutes. If you’re not in a hurry, I highly recommend it.
Also, note that the bus/modern jeep only drops passengers at the town center. If your hotel is outside the town center, you’re better off chartering a habal-habal or tricycle.
