The trek to the fall is pretty easy. As you reach the foot of the fall, you will be in awe of the sheer size of the fall—both its width and height.

Tumalog Falls is not too deep, making it perfect for kids and non-swimmers to take a dip into the coral-blue water. Beside the waterfall, there is a small boulder where most visitors take photos. Be careful though as it can get slippery.

4. Dao Falls (Samboan)

Dao Falls is one of the most popular waterfalls in Cebu, standing at 120 meters, making it the second tallest in the province. Located in Barangay Suba, Dao Falls is the tallest and only one of the many waterfalls in Samboan that tourists may visit.

Sometimes spelled Dau Falls, the trek to Dao Falls is easy to moderate and takes about 20 minutes. However, there’s a part near the uppermost tier where your grip and leg strength will be tested. A lot of tourists complained about the irrelevance of tour guides. But based on my experience, I think they are necessary. Note also that during the rainy season, it might get too slippery along the way. These guides are there to guide you where to step.

Inambakan Falls is only one level. You can choose to go further up to 5 levels of falls, including Bugnawan Falls, Kampael Falls, Kabutongan Falls, and Hidden Falls. Going to Inambakan Falls does not need a guide. But if you decide to proceed to the other falls, it’s best to get a guide.

Cambais Falls has not been developed to the likes of Kawasan Falls, so the trek going to the falls might not be the easiest as there are no visible signages to lead visitors. Nevertheless, Cambais Falls is worth exploring if you just want to be surrounded by nature for the day.

Having the same water source as Kawasan Falls and limestone gorges, the experience is almost the same. The difference? Wondefalls has not been on the radar of many tourists yet.

There will be 9 jumps overall. The highest jump would be from a 50-foot cliff, which is higher than the canyoneering in Kawasan Falls. All tourists are transported to Wonderfalls for the canyoneering activity. The meeting place will be at the office of your tour agency.
