For starters, Camotes Islands is a group of islands composed of Pacijan Island, Poro Island, Ponson Island, and Tulang Diot islet. Pacijan Island is where most of the tourist spots in the Camotes Islands can be found. Tulang Diot is also an attraction in and of itself.

Camotes Island Budget

We did not include transportation within the islands in the breakdown of expenses, assuming you are renting a scooter. A scooter for rent costs 1,000 PHP (~20 USD) in Camotes Islands for 2 days. Two liters of gas cost around 150 PHP (~3 USD).

Overall, here’s the total expense for a Camotes Island trip:

  • Breakfast – 150 PHP x 2 meals = 300 PHP
  • Lunch – 200 PHP x 3 meals = 600 PHP
  • Dinner – 200 PHP x 3 meals = 600 PHP
  • Azure Camotes Resort Hotel = 2,500 PHP
  • Masamayor’s Beach House and Resort = 1,700 PHP
  • Scooter in Camotes – 500 x 2 days = 1,000 PHP
  • Gas – 75 PHP x 2 liters = 150 PHP
  • Base expenses (fare, entrance fees, etc.) = 3,165 PHP
  • TOTAL = 10,015 PHP (~180 USD)

Of course, you can always adjust your meal and accommodation budget accordingly. A basic meal in Camotes Islands costs around 200-300 PHP (~4-6 USD). Eating at local restaurants and eateries would cost 100-150 PHP (~2-3 USD) per meal.
