Cebu IT Park, or simply referred to as IT Park or IT, is arguably the best area to stay in Cebu City. This CBD gives you access to pretty much everything—condominiums, restaurants, bars, coffee shops, cafés, convenience stores, banks, spas, gyms, parks, and malls.
Formerly known as Asiatown IT Park, IT Park is home to some of the world’s biggest call centers, including JPMorgan, Teleperformance, Convergys, Concentrix, and Accenture. But over the years, this 27-hectare business center has become a food and entertainment hub, popular among the youth, young professionals, and even families.

IT Park is located between the villages of Lahug and Apas. It’s centrally located and has fairly good access to neighboring towns and provinces.
To give you an idea, here’s how long it takes to get from IT Park to different key locations:
Overall, IT Park is the perfect base if you wish to stay longer in Cebu. I have been living here for two years and still love it.
I can also guarantee that this Cebu IT Park Guide is updated and has all the correct information you need if you consider it your base in Cebu or the Philippines.

IT Park has several condominiums and hotels within its vicinity. Here are some to look into:
This 38-storey condominium is new and the poshest in the area. Since it’s new, you might get caught up in the noise brought by the construction and furnishing of newly turned-over units.
The average monthly lease for long-term renters is 30,000 PHP (~530 USD) for a furnished studio unit and 45,000 PHP (~800 USD) for a 1-bedroom unit, inclusive of condo dues. It has a fitness gym with basic equipment, an indoor infinity pool, and a few lounge areas.
At the back of 38 Park Avenue is Avida Riala’s condominium complex, which has four buildings already in use and one soon to open–each with 27 floors. Its inner halls, however, tend to be smaller and tighter.
The average monthly rent for a furnished studio unit, including condo dues, is 18,000 PHP (~320 USD). The complex has in-ground swimming pools and recreational areas.
Located across Sugbo Mercado, Avida Towers is one of the oldest condos in IT Park. The average monthly long-term rent for a furnished studio unit, including condo dues, is 18,000 PHP (~320 USD). It has two towers with in-ground swimming pools and recreational areas.
This 26-storey condominium is a high-end property with spacious hallways. The average monthly long-term rent for a furnished studio unit, including condo dues, is 25,000 PHP (~450 USD). This features an indoor swimming pool and a fitness gym.
This is the first condo building in IT Park that opened in 2011. The average monthly rent for a studio unit, including condo dues, is 20,000 PHP (~350 USD), although I don’t see many listings for units for lease at this building. They have a rooftop swimming pool and a fitness gym with a basic set of equipment.
It’s the latest coliving condominium complex in the area. Developed by Ayala Land, the same developer that built Avida condominiums, The CityFlats offers affordable dorm-type accommodations right within IT Park.
The monthly co-living rate is 6,100 PHP (~110 USD), and the nightly rate for the hostel accommodations is 1,800 PHP (~32 USD).
Seda Central Bloc is a 4-star hotel and the only one inside IT Park. The nightly rate is around 5,000 PHP (~90 USD). It’s located within Ayala Central Bloc, the only shopping mall in IT Park.
Right outside IT Park are a number of condominiums you can look into, including The Median, BE Residences, Grand Residences, and The Pad Co-living. More dated options are La Guardia Flats 1 and 2, Residencia Edades, and The Sentinel.
A bit farther, but viable options to consider are Avenir, Meridian by Avenir, Mivesa Garden Residences, and Mivela Garden Residences.
For short-term stays, some hotels/apartments outside IT Park include 4-star hotel Waterfront Cebu City Hotel and Casino, 3-star hotels Noble Hotel and StayCity Serviced Apartment, and 2-star hotels Zerenity Hotel and Suites, Alba Uno Hotel, and Metro Park Hotel.
IT Park is not as big as BGC in Taguig, so activities are fairly limited. Most activities in IT Park are indoors. Here are some I would recommend:
If you’re looking for some fun activities, whether to celebrate a birthday or just to have a casual weekend, IT Park has Music One and Hello Movie House and Family KTV.

Whether you’re a foodie or a casual eater, IT Park is home to a bunch of restaurants and food spots to satiate your tummy.
Probably the main reason many tourists visit IT Park is Sugbo Mercado. This night food park is home to dozens of stalls offering various cuisine, including Japanese, Korean, Thai, Indian, and of course, Filipino fare.
Sugbo Mercado is open from 4 PM to 12 midnight from Tuesday to Sunday.
Read our Sugbo Mercado Guide for more details!

Although it’s not as popular as Sugbo Mercado, that also means you’re not competing for tables and chairs at Subgo Sentro. This place is an alternative option to try out some local delicacies, though it’s also common to see groups of people drinking session.
IT Park is home to the most number of contact centers in Cebu, and so it’s bustling 24 hours a day. What is expected for such a busy spot? An array of restaurants! Here are a few of our favorites:
Cebu IT Park might be a departure from the natural outdoor adventures and tropical island getaways Cebu offers. It is the perfect base for digital nomads and tourists who wish to stay longer in the city.
