➡️From Dumaguete City 

Start your journey with a 1-hour drive via private vehicle or public transit from Dumaguete to Bais. If traveling via public transit (either by bus or jeepney), the fare typically costs 55 PHP (~1 USD). When you arrive in Bais City, proceed to the Bais City Wharf via tricycle or jeepney which costs around 10 PHP (~0.18 USD).

Canibol Wharf Manjuyod Sandbar Travel Guide
Canibol Wharf is the most common jump-off point to Manjuyod Sandbar.

➡️From Cebu City

Traveling to Manjuyod Sandbar from Cebu City is an exciting excursion that blends beautiful scenery and amazing seaside attractions. To begin your tour, take a ferry from Cebu City to Dumaguete. A table is created for you in the Transporation Fee section of this article to further guide you on the most recent fare rates of both OceanJet and Cokaliong. Alternatively, you may take a bus from Cebu City to Dumaguete. To cut your travel time to 1 hour, take a direct flight from Cebu to Dumaguete.

Once in Dumaguete, head to the city’s Ceres Bus terminal and the personnel in charge should be able to assist you in taking the bus to Bais City. The fare is typically around 70 PHP (~1.26 USD).

Once in Bais City, you can either ride a tricycle or a jeepney to the Bais City Wharf for a fee of 15 PHP (~0.27 USD) where you can arrange a ride to Manjuyod Sandbar with the people in charge.

➡️From Manila 

Traveling from Manila to the scenic Manjuyod Sandbar combines land and sea travel, making for an enjoyable trip. Take a direct flight from Manila to Dumaguete, which is the nearest airport to the sandbar to start your journey. With Cebu Pacific or Philippine Airlines, a trip from Manila takes roughly three and a half hours and costs 2,300 PHP (~42 USD).  

Once you arrive in Dumaguete, you can take a tricycle from the Dumaguete airport to the Ceres Bus Terminal, where you can board a bus headed for Bais for roughly 55 PHP (~1 USD).

After arriving in Bais City, you can take a tricycle or a jeepney to the Bais City Wharf for a fare of 15 PHP (~0.27 USD) where you can arrange your trip to the sandbar with the assigned personnel.

Manjuyod Sandbar Fees 

You need to charter a boat at Canibol Wharf or Capiñahan Wharf to get you to Manjuyod Sandbar and back to the wharf. This costs 3,700 PHP (~70 USD) for a boat that carries 5 to 7 people and 5,000 PHP (~90 USD) for a boat that fits up to 15 people.

There are boat tours to Manjuyod Sandbar that you can join for around 1,500 PHP (~27 USD) per person. You may also wait at the wharf for other tourists so you can split the boat fee. However, this does not guarantee that there will be other tourists whom you can split the cost with.

In most tours, the fee usually includes a life vest and free use of snorkeling gear. Some tours would pick you up in Dumaguete and transfer you to Bais City Wharf.

At the sandbar, there are a few cottages. You can rent one if you like. The cost of renting a cottage throughout the day is 5,000 PHP (~90 USD). The 24-hour charge is 9,000 PHP (~163 USD), and the overnight rate is 5,000 PHP (~90 USD).
